    • Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead, coordinate, and assign daily tasks for the tear-down team across upper and lower car sections, providing active, hands-on guidance and direction.

    • Workplace Communication: Act as the primary on-site communication bridge between the disassembly team, project managers, and representatives to communicate goals, work instructions, scope changes, and project updates.

    • Component Disposition Guidance: Ensure technicians clearly understand which interior fixtures, electronics, wiring, and structural components are designated for removal, preservation, inspection, or scrap.

    • Productivity & Process Optimization: Monitor daily output, maintain workflow cadence across simultaneous work zones, and identify process improvements to streamline the dismantling operation.

    • Technical Problem-Solving: Identify unexpected vehicle conditions (e.g., hidden fasteners, adhesives, structural damage), develop practical real-time solutions, and seek technical clarification before work proceeds.

    • Issue Escalation & Reporting: Promptly escalate major technical roadblocks, scope discrepancies, safety hazards, or potential schedule delays to senior project management.

    • Quality & Compliance Oversight: Ensure all team members follow established safety protocols, use appropriate hand and power tools, and adhere strictly to technical work instructions.

    Profile

    • Leadership Experience: 2+ years of experience leading, supervising, or coordinating teams in a fast-paced industrial, mechanical, assembly, or disassembly environment.

    • Technical Background: Strong background in mechanical assembly/disassembly, industrial manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or rail vehicle maintenance.

    • Tool & Process Proficiency: Deep familiarity with industrial mechanics, hand/power tools, fastener identification, and technical work instructions.

    • Communication & Coordination: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of resolving cross-functional ambiguity on the shop floor.

    • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong spatial awareness, attention to detail, and practical trouble-shooting skills when encountering non-standard or unexpected physical conditions.

    • Physical Capability: Ability to work hands-on inside passenger train cars (bending, climbing, reaching across multi-level floor areas) alongside the team.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous experience supervising passenger rail vehicle overhaul, refurbishment, or teardown projects.

    • Familiarity with quality assurance procedures, component disposition logging, or client-facing project coordination.
