Job Description:
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for additional incentive compensation opportunities, including bonus programs, subject to performance.

 

Sign On Bonus: $5,000

 

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity located in Chicago, IL requiring an Illinois RN License.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate return-to-work and transitional duty programs
  • Guide and support employees throughout the recovery process
  • Review work restrictions and identify modified-duty opportunities
  • Partner with leaders, providers, and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes
  • Serve as a resource on workers' compensation and return-to-work programs
  • Maintain case documentation and track employee progress

Qualifications:
  • Education: Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of clinical, case management, disability management, absence management, workers' compensation, occupational health, or return-to-work experience preferred.
    • Experience coordinating return-to-work programs, managing work restrictions, transitional duty assignments, employee absences, or workers' compensation cases strongly preferred.
    • Backgrounds such as Occupational Health with absence management responsibilities, Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS), workers' compensation adjusting, case management, leave administration, or Human Resources-related case management are highly desirable.
  • Skills:  Ability to effectively collaborate with employees, physicians/providers, operational leaders, Human Resources, workers' compensation stakeholders, and customers.
    • Strong understanding of work restrictions, modified duty programs, return-to-work processes, and disability/absence management.
    • Ability to independently manage a caseload while prioritizing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
    • Advanced computer proficiency with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously and create, maintain, and analyze spreadsheets and reports.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other case management or tracking systems.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
    •  Ability to track employee status, monitor return-to-work milestones, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the case management process.Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license required and must be in good standing.
  • Travel: Must have reliable transportation to drive to the onsite location.

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $80,000 - $100,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
