The HUB Case Manager is a highly visible, relationship-driven role that combines nursing expertise, workers' compensation knowledge, employee education, and operational support. This position plays a key role in helping employees successfully navigate their recovery and return-to-work journey while supporting leaders and stakeholders throughout the process.
Unlike traditional clinical nursing roles, the HUB Case Manager serves as a trusted advisor, educator, and case coordinator. The role offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with employees, provide guidance during challenging situations, and positively impact both employee outcomes and operational success.
"This role is more than a case manager. We are often one of the first points of contact for employees following an injury and help them understand what to expect throughout the recovery process. We answer questions, provide guidance, and help reduce uncertainty during a difficult time."
"The role allows you to build direct relationships with employees while serving as a consultant and trusted resource for leadership. You help employees understand workers' compensation processes, recovery expectations, treatment plans, and return-to-work requirements while also partnering with operational leaders to solve problems and support successful outcomes."
"As a HUB Case Manager, you become the local subject matter expert for workers' compensation and return-to-work programs, collaborating closely with leaders, labor partners, timekeeping, and other stakeholders to help employees return to work safely and successfully."
