    Position Description Summary

    The Director, US Business Analytics serves as a strategic analytics advisor to the US Marketing Leadership Team, influencing portfolio, investment, and growth decisions through data-driven recommendations.

    • Accountable for defining analytics priorities and operating plans across the HAE and Immunoglobulin portfolio to support commercial strategy and business performance objectives.

    • Lead and develop innovative business analytics tools to analyze and advise on complex business problems and issues across CSL (Behring & Vifor) with a focus on the HAE and Ig US portfolio of products contributing more than $5B in annual revenue.

    • Operate as a business partner to US VP Marketing and the US Marketing leadership team by leading and owning the provision of analysis to provide quantitative market, competitor and brand insights.

    • Manage team responsible for all business analytics in support of CSL inline portfolio products with a focus on the HAE and Ig and late-stage pre-launch development products.

    • Drive innovation in business analytics deployment, data science and actionable insights.

    • Contribute to portfolio and brand strategy development through metrics, KPI dashboards and performance indicators.

    • Apply strong business acumen to synthesize quantitative and qualitative information into actionable recommendations.

    Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities

    • Recommend analytics strategies, operating plans, and performance measurement frameworks that directly impact portfolio performance and achievement of commercial objectives.

    • Lead team of US commercial business analytics professionals to develop, plan and execute commercial data modeling and scenario analysis

    • Lead continuous improvement efforts across analytics approaches, data identification, and team capability development.

    • Decision support utilizing quantitative techniques to analyze market dynamics and present insights to senior leadership, translating complex data into strategic recommendations that influence portfolio priorities and commercial decisions.

    • Direct work through managed resources and offshore delivery centers, ensuring prioritization and efficient delivery of large, complex cross-functional initiatives supporting business and portfolio objectives.

    Qualifications & Experience Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field. MBA or other postgraduate qualification preferred.

    • Minimum 12 years relevant Healthcare or Pharma Consulting experience supported by ability to influence stakeholders and senior leadership in developing data driven brand strategies & tactical executions plans.

    • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and credibility with CSL leaders from TA aligned commercial and marketing leaders to Commercial leadership.

    • Knowledge of relevant US business, legal, compliance and regulatory requirements.

    • Experience leading and managing teams in a complex and fast paced environment; global, matrixed, cross-functional experience preferred.

    • Experience in specialty/rare disease data across multiple data sources strongly preferred.

    • Knowledge of the US plasma ecosystem strongly preferred, including multi-product TA portfolio management, complex contracting approaches and understanding and communicating the business implications of those aspects across the company’s regions to stakeholders to support their decision-making.
