    Director - Turnaround & Restructuring

    Position Overview

    Our client is seeking a Director (8+ years of experience) to lead engagements across turnaround, restructuring, and value creation initiatives. This individual will play a key role in managing client relationships, overseeing financial and operational workstreams, and delivering actionable solutions in high-stakes situations.

    This role is well-suited for an execution-oriented leader who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys working across a range of complex special situations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead end-to-end execution of restructuring, turnaround, and performance improvement engagements
    • Conduct detailed financial and operational analyses to identify key issues and value drivers
    • Develop and oversee financial models, including liquidity forecasts, scenario analyses, and business plans
    • Design and implement value creation initiatives, including cost optimization and operational improvements
    • Advise clients on restructuring alternatives, capital structure solutions, and strategic transactions
    • Support transaction advisory processes, including diligence, analysis, and stakeholder coordination
    • Prepare high-quality client deliverables, including presentations, reports, and recommendations
    • Engage directly with senior stakeholders, including management teams, boards, lenders, and investors
    • Manage and mentor junior team members across multiple concurrent engagements
    • Contribute to business development, including building client relationships and sourcing new opportunities

    Qualifications

    • 8+ years of experience in restructuring, turnaround consulting, transaction advisory, investment banking, or related fields
    • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
    • Experience working on complex or distressed situations preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to lead engagements and manage senior client relationships
    • Understanding of corporate finance, capital structures, and operational improvement strategies
    • Strong communication and presentation skills in high-pressure environments
    • Bachelor's degree required; CPA, CFA, or advanced degree is a plus
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in lean, high-performance teams
