    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

    • 15 years of experience in program management, with a focus on HR system implementations.

    • Experience using AI first strategy across HR systems.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • PMP or other relevant project management certifications.
    • Experience in the technology or internet industry.
    • Experience working within very large, global organizations.

    About the job

    As the Program Director you will be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of Google"s enterprise-wide People Operations (POps) system transformation program. In this role, you will partner closely with the newly centralized product function and engineering leadership to define and manage the POps Engineering strategic roadmap. You will ensure all programs within Core and Corp Engineering are delivered on time. You"ll also manage the POps OKRs, prioritizing initiatives that drive AI-first agentification and platform modernization.

    Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

    US: $281000 - $391000 (USD) + 30% bonus target + equity + benefits

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and manage the overall program roadmap, budget, and resource plan for the POps system transformation.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, business unit stakeholders, and external vendors.
    • Lead and motivate a large, cross-functional program team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, proactively addressing potential roadblocks.
