    Job Type: Full-time | Days
    Schedule: Exempt, Days, Monday-Friday (available for staff when needed)


    Scope & Volume
    Leadership Scope: 114 FTEs
    Surgical Volume: 9,000 annual surgical cases | 2,000 annual endoscopic procedures
    Capacity: 10 active Operating Rooms


    Areas of Responsibility
    Units: Main OR, Havasu Ambulatory Surgery Center, PreOp, PACU, Preadmission Testing, Anesthesia Services, and CSPD.
    Specialties: Orthopedics, urology, OB/GYN, general surgery, plastics, ENT, neurosurgery, and podiatry.
    Multidisciplinary Staff: Surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and sterile processing technicians.


    How you’ll contribute
    A Surgical Services Director who excels in this role:
    • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
    • Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
    • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
    • Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.


    Requirements

    Required
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
    • Arizona RN License
    • 5+years of Surgical Nursing Experience
    • 1+years Leadership Experience in Surgical Setting
    Preferred
    • Master's Degree in Nursing (or relevant field)
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification
    • Certified Perioperative Nurse
