Job Summary and Qualifications The Director, Strategy serves as a strategic advisor within HealthTrust Performance Solutions - Business Advisory, supporting advisory engagements with health systems and provider organizations to identify opportunities , develop data-driven strategies , and guide initiatives that enhance financial performance, operational effectiveness, and enterprise growth . Working with organizational leadership and subject matter experts, this role contributes to the structuring of advisory engagements by analyzing opportunities, developing strategic insights, and supporting the creation of executive-level work products that inform decision-making. The Director helps ensure engagements reflect a cohesive enterprise perspective by integrating capabilities across HealthTrust's GPO, supply chain, purchased services, service line, logistics, analytics, and operational performance platforms. The role contributes to the development of engagement workplans, KPI frameworks, and executive presentations that clearly communicate priorities, strategy, and measurable outcomes. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, healthcare industry knowledge, and the ability to translate complex challenges into structured insights that support strategic advisory initiatives. Major Responsibilities: Support advisory engagements with hospitals, health systems, and provider organizations across HealthTrust Performance Solutions initiatives. Conduct analyses to identify financial, operational, and strategic improvement opportunities. Support development of engagement workplans, timelines, prioritization frameworks, and KPI structures. Develop executive presentations, strategic analyses, and client-facing deliverables that communicate insights and recommendations. Collaborate with subject matter experts across HealthTrust capabilities to develop integrated advisory solutions. Translate complex operational and financial data into actionable insights for leadership decision-making. Support development of financial models, business cases, and value analyses. Contribute to enterprise value articulation and strategic responses for new business opportunities. Support ongoing engagement with member organizations and internal stakeholders. Contribute to development of consulting tools, methodologies, and advisory frameworks within HealthTrust Performance Solutions. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, health system operations, strategy, or performance improvement. Experience advising health system leadership on operational, financial, or strategic initiatives. Demonstrated ability to structure complex initiatives and integrate multidisciplinary expertise. Experience developing executive presentations, strategic analyses, and financial models to support decision-making. Experience supporting enterprise performance improvement across supply chain, operations, or service lines. Experience working with large health systems or non-acute focused IDN's and understanding their unique sourcing needs. Ability to travel up to 50% Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Administration (MHA), or a related field.
