    Description

    Job Title: Director, Strategic Industry Programs
    Reports to: VP, Strategic Industry Programs
    FLSA Status: Exempt
    Salary: $115,000 - $120,000
     
    Summary:  Responsible for leading strategic industry programs from concept through execution, with a focus on revenue growth, member engagement, and operational excellence. Partners across departments to advance business objectives, manage stakeholder relationships, and deliver impactful industry initiatives.
     
    Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
    Business/Program Development Skills:
    • Drive the execution of revenue generating roadmaps that fuel Strategic Programs industry initiatives to maintain and build industry recognized programs
    • Leverage internal program assets, operations and infrastructure to enhance and scale program onboarding
    • Project management including business development tracking, reporting and business modeling for existing and new industry programs
    • Prepare processes and documentation required to maintain and launch industry programs
    • Prioritize, monitor and report pipeline activities and outreach efforts to grow program adoption
    • Establish, track and report on weekly action items supporting both  short term and long-term program objectives
    • Identify interdepartmental opportunities to align Strategic Industry Programs initiatives with our broader association goals
    • Lead and manage working group initiatives, cultivate prospective member opportunities, and drive member engagement efforts across multiple working groups
    • Liaison between policy, communications and membership teams for content approvals as needed
    • Prepare working group meeting agendas and summaries, and project manage working group deliverables, as needed
    • Basic database management and reporting tools experience is a plus

    Qualifications:

    Knowledge:
    Must have demonstrated experience in relationship management, project management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
     
    Computer skills:
    Must be extremely well-versed in all Microsoft Office Suite products. Expert knowledge of Excel is required and prior experience with databases is preferred. Knowledge of product marketing, project planning, and some experience in working with technology subject matter experts and strong presentation skills are required.
     
    Education and/or experience:
    Bachelor’s degree preferred.  5 or more years of experience in  business development and project management, with proven track record of fostering strong stakeholder relationships and advancing strategic initiatives.
     
    Language Skills:
    Detail-oriented with knowledge of grammar and punctuation. Proficiency in proofreading skills and strong communications and presentation skills are required.

    Location:
    CTIA is currently operating on a hybrid work schedule with in-person requirements on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
