Job Description

Opportunity at a Glance

The position provides leadership to a multi-functional team. Services provided by the team include a variety of Shared Operations Center of Excellence support functions such as business process development, support of compliance/audit, quality assurance, training, communications and/or business operations functions including but not limited to course materials and health insurance processing. Supports and drives continuous improvement, change management and business process initiatives resulting in delivery of exceptional business results for all institutions, students and stakeholders. The role requires strong collaboration and project management with internal Shared Operations Center of Excellence, institutional leaders and other departments (Regulatory Affairs, Internal Audit, Marketing, Finance, etc…) to drive process improvement delivery through exemplary process design/improvement/management skills using proven best practice techniques and methodologies. Leverages and leads technology solutions to deliver business process results. Drives performance within Shared Operations and institutional partners within the Health Care and Professional Education verticals to impact the student experience and support organizational growth.

Responsibilities

Manages multiple functions for multiple institutions and internal business partners ensuring seamless, student-centric processes to deliver exceptional business performance results. Leadership of functions may include and are not limited to business process improvement / project management, support of systems and technology alignment to business needs, quality assurance, audit support, training, communications, and a variety of business operations functions. All projects and functions performed in alignment with service quality and audit compliance objectives. Student finance and registrar services/academic business processes may be supported.
Directs future growth by developing scalable services for the organization Continually analyzes processes and outcomes.
Develops and implements process improvements. Champions needed change to stay competitive and student focused.
Networks and develops new client relationships to meet current and future needs. - Manages multiple functions for multiple institutions ensuring seamless, student-centric processes to deliver exceptional business performance results.
Provides leadership support for quality and audit / compliance throughout Shared Operations and partner institutions through all functions including, but not limited to training, quality assurance, quality/compliant business process, communications, operational support functions and audit support.
Leader of systems, technology and business process solutions to deliver efficient and effective technology results for all business partners.
Serves as an executive liaison, representing Shared Operations with institutional partners by serving on various committees, task forces, project teams, etc. and maintaining a proactive, transparent relationship on service level agreements and continued improvement in service delivery.
Collaborates with Shared Operations leadership to determine resource allocation, commitment, etc…
Creates and manages a labor model that maximizes outcomes and establishes career paths to retain and develop talent.
Maintains a customer focused department and creates service level agreements and SOPs for all support services.
Develops talent, manages performance and delivers performance evaluations, while embracing and modeling the organization"s Covista values.
Actively participates in management meetings, activities and assignments.
Completes other duties as assigned.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor"s Degree Required. Master"s Degree preferred.
10+ years Proven senior-level leadership experience with a minimum of years managing diverse operational teams.
8+ years Proven higher education or comparable experience on managing highly regulated functional areas for over years.
Experience working with leadership and participating in accreditation visits and internal and external audits.
Areas of expertise including Registrar functions and responsibilities, Academic policy, procedures and programs, and/or extensive Student Finance, Title IV and Student Services knowledge.
Can handle responsibility without authority - i.e. able to facilitate execution across multiple departments and institutions within Covista.
Exhibits a strong executive leadership presence coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Displays strong strategic-planning skills complimented with exceptional business acumen.
Ability to drive projects and results involving several business units.
Ability to develop and motivate teams to meet or exceed goals.
Excellent communication skills.

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $100171.61 and $134668.85. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
