Location Salisbury, NC - Relocation required within 12 months. They are required to be in office from the very beginning. Client will pay for all travel during first 12 months. 75% on-site.

We are seeking a Director, SAP Technology Lead - Merchandising to lead SAP and retail technology capabilities supporting merchandising within a large-scale grocery retail transformation.This is a true Director-level position requiring deep knowledge of retail merchandising processes combined with SAP S/4HANA transformation experience. Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP technology strategy and transformation for retail merchandising.
- Drive technology decisions supporting merchandising, pricing, promotions and related retail processes.
- Lead major S/4HANA transformation initiatives within a complex retail organization.
- Partner directly with merchandising and other business leaders to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
- Provide leadership across merchandising, supply chain and store operations.
- Support integration between SAP and the broader retail technology ecosystem.
- Provide hands-on leadership and challenge technical designs and recommendations where appropriate.
- Manage multiple teams and work effectively with implementation partners and systems integrators.
- Ensure solutions support the scale and complexity of a major grocery retail environment.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience leading a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation.
- Strong retail merchandising experience.
- Strong understanding of grocery retail pricing and promotions.
- Experience with SAP CAR.
- Experience with RELEX, Blue Yonder, or a similar retail merchandising/master-data technology.
- Experience across merchandising and its connections to supply chain and store operations.
- Retail industry experience within a large, complex environment.
- Director-level leadership experience with responsibility for multiple teams.
- Strong combination of business-facing and technical expertise.
- Ability to remain hands-on while operating effectively with executive leadership.
