Responsibilities:
- Oversee key business development activities for our SAP consulting practice, including proposal development, project estimation, and serving as the lead S2P solution architect; lead pre-sales activities in support of SAP S/4HANA sourcing and procurement, SAP Ariba, and next-generation SAP Ariba opportunities, grounding AI-enabled and agent-assisted value propositions in delivered outcomes and defensible business cases; build and maintain relationships with key SAP industry partners and executives
- Lead highly skilled client and KPMG SAP S2P work teams through full project lifecycles; ensure the delivery of high-quality, integrated solutions spanning materials management, direct/indirect procurement, supplier collaboration, and inventory operations; where clients adopt SAP Business AI and Joule capabilities, design the workflows, decision rights, and human-in-the-loop controls that allow automation to carry the transaction while accountability remains with the business
- Participate in the continual development and publication of thought leadership and service offerings on the evolution of procurement, from automated sourcing and predictive analytics toward agent-assisted and autonomous S2P operations within the broader autonomous enterprise; help connect S2P offerings to KPMG's supply chain orchestration frameworks and reference architectures
- Assist partners with practice administration, including resource allocation, budget management, career development and mentoring of staff, and other key people management decisions
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum eight years of recent experience providing SAP advisory services, specifically focusing on source to pay (S2P), materials management (MM), and procurement (direct and indirect) capabilities, to clients across multiple industries
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is required
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining m with senior clients (C-suite) in a professional services environment; proven experience utilizing the SAP activate methodology and leading complex design workshops with cross-functional procurement and supply chain stakeholders
- Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA sourcing and procurement and SAP materials management (MM); strong operational knowledge of SAP Ariba (including sourcing, contracts, buying and invoicing, and the Ariba Network), SAP Fieldglass, and seamless integration architecture with SAP Finance (FI/CO), extended warehouse management (EWM), and external supplier networks; working knowledge of SAP's AI direction across the S2P lifecycle, including Joule in SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA and the next-generation SAP Ariba architecture
- Procurement Specialization: Proven hands-on experience designing and optimizing processes for Direct Procurement, including direct materials, supply chain collaboration, schedule agreements, and MRP integration, as well as indirect procurement, including operational procurement, catalog management, service procurement, and tactical sourcing
- Demonstrated experience taking at least one AI-enabled or intelligent-automation procurement capability into production, such as intelligent invoice processing, predictive supplier risk, spend analytics, or Joule-assisted workflows, with the ability to speak to measured business outcomes; fluency in SAP's agentic AI direction, including Joule Agents and multi-agent orchestration, and in the governance required to deploy it responsibly, covering autonomy boundaries, escalation paths, data privacy, and auditability; excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex S2P system architecture into clear business value for executive-level stakeholders
- Ability to travel as needed
