Join our first-class team to reinvent in-flight experience. In the role of Director, Repair Station youll play a pivotal part on our Repair Station team. The Repair Director leads end-to-end aftermarket repair activities including operations, supply chain, customer service, contracts, quality and continuous improvement. The key responsibilities are to ensure repairs profitability, contractual and regulatory compliance.

This position contributes to our vision by:

• Devise a strategy for ensuring the growth and success of the repair organization.
• Own the repair business plan: develop and control a budget to promote profitability and ensure achievement of company objectives.
• Define repair performance goals and objectives aligned with repairs strategy. Flow down goals to repair station managers and supervisors.
• Plan, identify, and coordinate all resources required to achieve goals: labor (load / capacity), materials (inventory and supply chain), and industrial setup.
• Establish an effective department structure to improve team working relationships
• Direct and oversee the repair station staff including repair station managers and supervisors to ensure that they are motivated and trained to carry out their responsibilities efficiently.
• Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational processes and associated key metrics to provide visibility into the goals and to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
• Analyze key metrics to determine & implement root cause corrective action and recovery plans.
• Compile and publish of visual metrics, presentations and reports. Internal reporting to Executive Management, including project review presentations.
• Collaborate and develop relationships with all stakeholders involved in the aftermarket repair process: Logistics, Spares Production, Supply Chain, Sales, Quality, Programs, Engineering, supplier and vendors.
• Be accountable for spare parts inventory needed for repairs: define inventory levels with supply chain and take action to reach inventory targets.
• Serves as Accountable Manager: responsible for the repair station compliance with the federal / national regulations.
• Be accountable to customers for the repairs performance. Serve as point of escalation for customers for operational issues.
• Conduct or contribute to contractual negotiation with customers.
• Develop and execute a sales development plan in collaboration with the sales and marketing department
• Stimulate improvement and innovation to ensure competitiveness of the repair organization. Sponsor or manage complex projects.
• Other duties maybe assigned.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree or higher

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of supply chain and/or program management and/or operations in aerospace, automotive or mechanical manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading teams.
• Minimum of 5 years in a Part145 repair environment

Computer Skills:

• Proficient knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Other Skills:

• Work independently and be highly productive with minimal oversight
• Be highly organized, self-motivated, and have a high level of personal energy.
• Ability to develop, lead, motivate working teams. Solid organizational and leadership skills. Ability to lead and manage managers. Strong work ethics.
• Ability to see the big picture while also being execution-oriented to improve operational excellence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing.
• Problem solving and data analysis skills.

The expected salary range for this position is between $133,230 - $209,360 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
