    The Role

Are you energized by setting a vision and seeing it come to life? Join us as a Director, Product Manager - SPS Employer Experiences where you will lead product strategy and shape the direction of experiences that matter to our customers! This role is centered on defining what to build and why—partnering closely with engineering leaders who bring those ideas to life through delivery and execution.

You will be accountable for translating customer needs, business goals, and market insights into a product vision, roadmap, and prioritized build-ready work. Working side-by-side with engineering partners, you will ensure alignment between what we build and how it is delivered—balancing customer value, business impact, and technical considerations.

    Key areas of focus include:

    • Shaping an individual product, customer experience, capability and concepts
    • Identifying opportunities through customer research, market insights, and problem exploration
    • Defining features, outcomes, and measures of success to guide product direction
    • Prioritizing work and managing product backlogs to reflect the highest value opportunities
    • Partnering with engineering leaders who own delivery planning, sequencing, and execution
    • Supporting launches and evaluating performance to inform future strategy and enhancements
    • Leveraging input from internal stakeholders to shape product strategy, roadmap priorities, and customer outcomes.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

    • We are seeking someone who is passionate about defining product strategy and influencing outcomes through strong partnerships. This role requires a balance of big-picture thinking and attention to detail, along with the ability to align teams around a shared direction.
    • You bring a strong sense of ownership for product strategy while building effective relationships with engineering leaders who are leading delivery and execution. You are comfortable navigating trade-offs, asking thoughtful questions, and using insights to guide decisions.
    • 7 plus years of functional experience in product management, technology and/or business, with high level agile, analytical, and coaching skills
    • Holds or working towards Certified Equity Professional (CEP)
    • Demonstrated product experience shaping a product strategy, defining roadmaps, and prioritizing customer-focused solutions
    • Dedication to serving our clients and their participants—listening to client’s feedback, simplifying their end-to-end experiences, engaging them in an inclusive manner, and setting them up for better outcomes.
    • Ability to connect customer needs and business goals to clear product direction and outcomes
    • Comfort using data, research, and feedback to guide decisions and measure success
    • Strong collaboration skills, especially in partnership with partnering product teams and engineering across planning and execution
    • Demonstrated experience building strong partnerships with Operations, Client Management, and Sales stakeholders to align priorities, enable successful product adoption, and maximize client value and business results.
    • Ability to clearly communicate concepts, trade-offs, and priorities to varied audiences
    • Experience contributing to business cases, evaluating value, and supporting decision-making
    • Strong communication, collaboration, interpersonal and relationship building skills with which you influence and engage across Fidelity and at all levels of the organization and with external customers and partners
    • Take a data-focused approach to support decision making, in day-to-day leadership and strategic tradeoff analyses
