What You'll Do

As Director of Procure to Pay (P2P), you will own and evolve our global procure to pay function, ensuring the highest standards for sourcing, supplier relationships, contract negotiation, vendor payments, and compliance. You will lead a team of procurement and accounts payable professionals, partner closely with leaders across the business, and drive transformation and efficiency throughout the procurement lifecycle. This role is critical to delivering cost savings, optimizing processes, and mitigating supplier risk as we continue to scale and innovate.

What You'll Bring

  • 12-15 years of experience in procurement or related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement and payables processes, contract management, compliance, and supplier relationship management.
  • Demonstrated experience driving process improvements, cost-savings, and technology adoption in procurement.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa).
  • Experience overseeing P2P transformation in a global company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evolve and execute the P2P strategy in alignment with company financial goals and business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the P2P team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure procurement processes align with overall business strategy and operational needs.
  • Oversee the full P2P lifecycle: supplier selection, contract negotiation, purchase order management, ongoing supplier performance, and vendor payment.
  • Drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives across the P2P cycle.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, including regular performance reviews and assessments.
  • Resolve supplier issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
  • Champion technology-driven solutions to streamline and automate procurement and payables processes.
  • Monitor and report on key procurement and payables metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in P2P technology and supplier management.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For the Director level, the base salary pay range is $158,000 to $206,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
