As Director, Practice Banking, your work will shape a new specialty banking division designed to serve some of Utah's most successful and influential business owners.That's a big deal!You'll have the opportunity to build a business line from the ground up, helping physicians, dentists, veterinarians, attorneys, accountants, and other professional practice owners access the banking solutions they need to grow, acquire, expand, and eventually transition their businesses. Your work will directly influence Utah First's growth strategy while helping practice owners achieve their professional and personal goals.Here's what that looks like day to day:Launch and grow Utah First's Practice Banking division by developing the business strategy, operating model, referral network, and growth roadmapProspect, develop, and deepen relationships with professional practice owners while serving as a trusted advisor throughout the lifecycle of their businessesDeliver comprehensive banking solutions that include deposits, treasury management services, cash-flow solutions, and commercial lending productsBuild partnerships with CPAs, attorneys, consultants, brokers, industry associations, and other centers of influence to generate new business opportunitiesManage and grow a profitable portfolio while laying the foundation for future team expansion and specialty banking growthSchedule: Monday-Friday during regular business hours, with local business-development and networking activities throughout the community, based from our Salt Lake City, Utah office.WHAT YOU BRINGBachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum 7 years of commercial banking, business banking, practice banking, or related relationship-management experienceProven track record of generating new business, growing portfolios, and building long-term client relationshipsExperience with treasury management products and business cash-management solutionsStrong knowledge of commercial lending, credit fundamentals, and relationship profitabilityAbility to manage a portfolio while simultaneously prospecting and developing new business opportunitiesValid driver's licensePreferred QualificationsExperience serving healthcare, dental, veterinary, legal, accounting, or other professional practice clientsEstablished network of referral partners throughout UtahKnowledge of practice acquisition financing and professional practice economicsExperience launching new business lines, specialty banking programs, or niche market segmentsProven success growing both commercial loans and deposits within a portfolioWHY UTAH FIRST?Since 1935, Utah First Credit Union has been dedicated to making a significant difference in the lives of our members, employees, and communities.
