A 267-bed hospital in Fort Walton Beach, FL is seeking a Director of Trauma Program. The facility operates an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, a Cancer Care Center, open-heart surgery services, a main emergency room, a dedicated pediatric ER, and two freestanding ERs.

The role. The Director of Trauma Program leads the coordination and strategic development of trauma services across the full care continuum, working in close collaboration with local and regional trauma systems. The director is responsible for managing the verification and re-verification processes for the Trauma Center and designing the trauma registry to support performance improvement activities, trend reporting, and research while maintaining confidentiality. This role also develops quality filters, audits, and case reviews to identify clinical trends and system issues, while monitoring outcomes and driving improvements in financial performance and resource utilization across the trauma program.

What we're looking for.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license, active and current
  • 5 or more years of recent acute care trauma leadership experience (e.g., Trauma Program Manager, Trauma Coordinator) within the last year
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Schedule. This is a full-time day-shift position.

Compensation. $115,000 - $135,000 per year plus Sign on: No Sign on Relocation Assistance: Case by Case
