Description

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Director of Technology in Raleigh, NC. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the organization's technology strategy and long-term roadmap
  • Lead software development, architecture, infrastructure, security, cloud, database, and technology operations functions
  • Align technology investments and priorities with business objectives and organizational growth
  • Establish technology governance, architecture standards, security controls, and operational best practices
  • Oversee enterprise applications, system integration, modernization initiatives, and platform reliability
  • Drive software delivery excellence through Agile, DevOps, quality assurance, and release management practices
  • Manage technology portfolios, project prioritization, resource planning, and delivery execution
  • Ensure cybersecurity, business continuity, risk management, and compliance requirements are met
  • Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, technology procurement, and budget management
  • Monitor operational performance, service levels, and key technology metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and efficiency
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing technology teams while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration
  • Partner with executive leadership and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Systems, or a related field
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership, software delivery, infrastructure, architecture, or related disciplines
  • 10+ years of experience leading large technical teams and enterprise technology programs
  • Proven experience developing and executing technology strategies, roadmaps, and modernization initiatives
  • Strong background in software development, infrastructure, cloud technologies, enterprise architecture, and technology operations
  • Experience managing large-scale technology portfolios, budgets, vendors, and strategic investments
  • Experience with Agile, DevOps, and modern software delivery methodologies
  • Experience working in cloud, hybrid, and enterprise technology environments
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and governance frameworks
  • Demonstrated success leading organizational change, technology transformation, and process improvement initiatives
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills
  • Proven ability to build, mentor, and retain high-performing technical teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
