A leading organization in the energy and industrial sector is seeking a Director of Technology to drive enterprise technology strategy, cybersecurity, infrastructure modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.


This executive leadership role is ideal for a forward-thinking technology professional who can align IT investments with business objectives while ensuring operational reliability, security, and long-term scalability. The Director of Technology will partner closely with executive leadership to develop and execute a technology roadmap that strengthens performance, resilience, and innovation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute enterprise technology and cybersecurity strategies aligned with business goals.

  • Advise executive leadership on technology trends, cyber risk, business continuity, and operational resilience.

  • Lead IT operations, infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, networks, and cybersecurity programs.

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, including ERP modernization, cloud adoption, data analytics, and emerging technologies.

  • Oversee business continuity and disaster recovery planning to ensure operational readiness and secure recovery capabilities.

  • Establish and maintain IT governance, risk management, compliance, and service management practices.

  • Partner with business and operations leaders to improve efficiency, automate processes, and support strategic objectives.

  • Manage technology budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, and technology investments.

  • Lead the secure integration of enterprise IT, operational technology (OT), and industrial IoT environments.

  • Develop performance metrics and KPIs that measure service quality, reliability, security maturity, and business impact.


Leadership Responsibilities



  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the IT organization.

  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing technology teams.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Support succession planning and professional development across the IT department.


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management or director-level role.

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, energy, or other highly regulated environments.

  • Proven success leading enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, including ERP, cloud, and analytics platforms.

  • Experience with cloud migration and hybrid infrastructure environments.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and operational technology frameworks, including NIST, CISA, and ISA/IEC standards.
