Director of Talent Acquisition

Confidential Plaintiff-Side Law Firm | Los Angeles, CA

Salary: $145,000 - $185,000 DOE

Schedule: Full-time, In Office

LHH is partnering with a growing, confidential law firm to identify a Director of Talent Acquisition. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving attorney and staff recruiting efforts, managing recruiting resources, developing sourcing strategies, and supporting the firm's continued expansion.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong talent acquisition background, experience building talent pipelines in competitive markets, and a demonstrated history of career stability and progression.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for attorneys and business professionals.

  • Manage and mentor recruiting team members.

  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies to attract top talent.

  • Partner with firm leadership to forecast hiring needs and workforce planning initiatives.

  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruiting partners and talent networks.

  • Enhance employer branding and candidate experience.

  • Support employee development, leadership training, and succession planning initiatives.

  • Partner with managers to identify talent gaps and organizational development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 7+ years of talent acquisition experience, including experience in a senior or leadership capacity.

  • Prior agency recruiting experience required.

  • Experience managing recruiters and high-volume hiring initiatives.

  • Strong sourcing and pipeline-building skills.

  • Experience within a law firm or professional services environment preferred.

  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.

  • Proven ability to adapt in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $145,000 - $185,000
