About the Role: Director of Surgical Services

As the Director of Surgical Services, you will play a crucial role in our hospital, overseeing a substantial department within a bustling healthcare environment. You will direct the activities and resources of the department to achieve exceptional departmental and organizational objectives. This leadership position is not just administrative; it calls for the skills of an experienced Registered Nurse who understands the nuances of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing 9 Operating Rooms (OR) and 2 Endoscopy (Endo) Suites at the main hospital, plus an additional 4 OR and 2 Endo Suites at our outpatient surgery center.
• Directly managing 3 Managers and being responsible for a total of 85 Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs) across the main hospital and outpatient surgery center.
• Ensuring the highest standards of care in more than 4,346 procedures conducted annually.

What We Require:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing 15+ OR suites.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Director of OR in a critical care hospital.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field.
• Active Arizona State Registered Nurse License (or compact state license).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire.
