POSITION SUMMARY:

The Student Success Director leads the college's efforts to help students stay enrolled, make academic progress, and complete their degrees. The director works closely with faculty, advisors, and campus departments to identify students who may need additional support and connect them with the right resources.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•\tDevelop and oversee student retention and success programs. •\tMonitor student progress and coordinate support for students who are struggling. •\tSupervise student success staff and related services. •\tWork with academic and student affairs teams to improve advising and student support. •\tReview student data and prepare reports on retention, persistence, and completion. •\tDevelop workshops and programs that help students succeed in college. •\tMaintain strong relationships with students and provide guidance when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree is preferred. The successful candidate should have experience in student success, advising, retention, counseling, or a related area in higher education. Supervisory experience and strong communication and organizational skills are also preferred.
