Duties

The Director of Special Education provides districtwide leadership for the development,

implementation, and continuous improvement of programs and services for students with

disabilities. The Director ensures high-quality, legally compliant services while leading

systems that support inclusive practices, effective instruction, and student success. As a

member of the District leadership team, the Director works collaboratively with

administrators, staff, families, and community partners to strengthen the continuum of

services and advance District priorities.

Qualifications

• Professional Educator License (PEL) with Director of Special Education

Endorsement

• Master Degree in related field
• Type 75/Administrative experience preferred

Salary/Benefits

• $105,000-$125,000 (Final Salary TBD by the Board of Education)
• Board-paid employee TRS contribution
• Board-paid contribution towards medical insurance
• District paid sick and personal leave
