Summary Under the supervision of the CEO, and in collaboration with the YFC Leadership Team, the Director of Social Services oversees the development and implementation of assigned social service programs and various community projects including Homeless Youth Services. This position is part of the overall leadership team of the agency and participates in program development, strategic planning, CARF accreditation, budgeting, and sustainability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Director of Social Services position requires a candidate experienced in agency integration, administrative oversight, evaluation and reporting, grants management, applied research, training, family support practice, community collaboration, volunteer management, strength-based approaches, organizational sustainability, community development, and direct services. Additionally, this position must have leadership, supervision, and management experience. This includes the ability to effectively collaborate and work closely with local, regional, and state team members, as well as collaborative and funding partners, including the Department of Social Services. The Director of Social Services will bring together a diverse range of services into one effective department and has a priority of organizational responsibility to staff, customers, stakeholders, and the community. The estimated base pay for the Director of Social Services is $40.00 per hour to $48.00 per hour; additional individual compensation may be available.
