Position Summary
Oversee the sales and operations of the west branches and showrooms. Owning the sales strategy and execution of customer experience, merchandising, profitability, and drive to create best-in-class results.
Leverage and coordinate with the residential and commercial A&D teams to develop deeper community relationships and help advance revenue and reputation in the area by driving specifications and pull through product awareness through them.
Lead day to day branch operations, visual merchandising, shape and develop best practices to ensure customer experience and performance consistency across locations.
Own operational budgets, gross profit dollars, Branch operating expenses, capital expenditures, etc.
Directly manage and develop Branch and Showroom managers regarding budget adherence, overall performance, policy and safety compliance
Reports to the President and will be liaison between branches and executive leadership
Skills/Requirements
5+ years' experience of strategic leadership in sales in Branch/showroom, dealer distribution or retail environment. 7-10 years overall sales experience.
Industry background in building materials, preferably in floor coverings, tile, stone, home furnishings or slabs. All building supply backgrounds will be considered.
Highly motivated, proven team leader who builds cross functional, customer focused teams that create a safety first and collaborative culture.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written as well as strong project management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities
High level of integrity and commitment to doing what is right and fair for all involved.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in industry.
