Director of Service — Focused Property Inspections | North CarolinaFull-time | NC Home Inspector license required
You already know how to inspect a house. This role is about what comes next.
Focused Property Inspections is a veteran-owned inspection company operating in Maine, New Hampshire, and North Carolina, founded by a Certified Master Inspector with 30 years in the field. Our NC team is growing and we need a leader to own the quality of everything that goes out the door.
What you will do
- Lead, train, and coach the NC inspection team
- Establish and maintain new client & agent relationships
- Own report quality through audits and on-site evaluations
- Build the QA program, the SOPs, and the training tools, then teach the team to use them
- Monitor ISN for 24-hour report delivery and hold the team to it
- Handle client concerns that require field intervention, start to finish
- Run weekly accountability meetings and report metrics to leadership
- Perform inspections to cover gaps and emergencies
- Track NC licensure board rules and update our procedures when they change
What we are looking for
- Active NC Home Inspector license in good standing
- Real inspection volume and the ability to defend a finding to anyone
- Someone who enjoys teaching and developing people
- Self-managing, detail-driven, and calm in confrontational conversations
- Comfortable reading data and acting on it
- Willing to work in the field when the schedule demands it
Preferred: WDIR and radon credentials, septic experience, CMI or CPI, supervisory or training background, ISN & Spectora familiarity.
