    Job Summary

    Provides executive-level leadership for a secure residential treatment program serving youth with complex behavioral health and court-related needs. Oversees operations, treatment programs, staffing, budget, compliance, facility safety, and strategic initiatives while promoting a safe, secure, trauma-informed, and therapeutic environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead strategic planning and initiatives focused on youth treatment, rehabilitation, outcomes, and reducing recidivism.
    • Oversee daily administrative, operational, clinical, educational, and security functions.
    • Develop and implement policies, procedures, performance metrics, and quality improvement initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, safety standards, and youth protection requirements.
    • Oversee staffing, personnel actions, employee development, training, and leadership team performance.
    • Maintain a safe, secure, trauma-informed, and therapeutic residential environment.
    • Manage facility operations, staffing levels, physical plant needs, and security requirements.
    • Oversee contracts and coordinate clinical, psychological, psychiatric, educational, and other professional services.
    • Develop and manage the operational budget and prioritize resources for staffing, treatment, education, and facility needs.
    • Analyze financial, operational, regulatory, and youth-outcome data to support decision-making.
    • Prepare reports, recommendations, and updates for executive leadership and oversight bodies.
    • Collaborate with courts, policymakers, regulatory agencies, community organizations, families, and other stakeholders.
    • Represent the organization in meetings, hearings, testimony, and official communications.
    • Build a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, continuous learning, and respect.
    • Provide leadership during complex or high-risk situations and promote effective conflict resolution.

    Required Qualifications

    • Master's degree in business administration, criminal justice, sociology, social work, psychology, or a related field plus 8 years of progressive executive-level leadership experience; or
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 10 years of progressive executive-level leadership experience.
    • Experience leading residential youth rehabilitation, treatment, human services, behavioral health, or public-sector youth programs.
    • At least 4 years of management-level experience involving program administration, supervision, planning, evaluation, or related functions.
    • Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, strategic planning, and organizational management skills.
    • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders preferred.
    • Valid driver's license or access to transportation for required travel.
