Director of Sales

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales (DOS) to join our Sales Team!  As the DOS, you will be responsible for generating revenue by selling group meetings, events, and social functions at our hotel.  You’ll play a key role in driving business growth by prospecting new clients, managing event logistics, and ensuring a seamless experience for the guests. You will work closely with our sales team to execute high-quality events that exceed expectations.

Duties:

·       Actively solicit, negotiate, and secure group bookings for meetings, conferences, and social events.

·       Respond to inbound inquiries

·       Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, and local businesses.

·       Conduct site visits to showcase our hotel’s meeting spaces and services.

·       Attend events to solicit new business opportunities.

·       Serve as the primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after events.

·       Deliver exceptional customer service at all times

·       Follow up with clients post-event to gather feedback, strengthen relationships, and grow repeat business

·       Maintain accurate records in the hotel’s CRM

·       Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports

Qualifications:

·       Proven experience in group sales, preferably in the hospitality industry

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·       Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively.

·       Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

·       Experience with CRM systems.
