    Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Director of Sales - Amazon for a global electronics manufacturing organization. This is a remote, direct-hire opportunity open nationally, with candidates expected to align with Pacific Time business hours.

    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    The Director of Sales - Amazon will own and grow a strategic Amazon account, leveraging established customer relationships to position the organization for new hardware and consumer electronics programs. This leader will work directly with Amazon procurement, sourcing, product, and engineering stakeholders to understand upcoming product plans, purchasing needs, anticipated SKUs, and launch volumes while identifying opportunities for new manufacturing partnerships. The ideal candidate brings direct Amazon/Lab126 relationships, consumer electronics manufacturing expertise, and a track record of turning customer relationships into significant revenue and program growth.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Own and execute the Amazon sales and account growth strategy, including revenue planning, pipeline development, forecasting, and executive relationship management.
    • Build and deepen relationships with Amazon procurement, sourcing, product, engineering, operations, supply chain, and executive stakeholders to uncover upcoming hardware and consumer device opportunities.
    • Gain early visibility into customer needs, including anticipated SKUs, purchasing requirements, launch volumes, accessories, and product roadmaps, and translate this intelligence into actionable business opportunities.
    • Lead complex RFI, RFP, and RFQ opportunities from initial customer engagement through solution development, pricing, negotiations, program award, product launch, and mass production.
    • Coordinate global engineering, program management, operations, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams to deliver successful customer programs.
    • Lead strategic customer meetings and executive business reviews while communicating forecasts, customer priorities, competitive activity, risks, and growth opportunities internally.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Sales, business development, or strategic account leadership experience within consumer electronics manufacturing, EMS, ODM, JDM, or contract manufacturing.
    • Direct experience working with Amazon and established relationships within the customer organization, particularly across procurement, sourcing, product, engineering, or operations.
    • Demonstrated success identifying, winning, and expanding complex, high-value consumer electronics or hardware manufacturing programs.
    • Strong understanding of RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, pricing, cost models, contract negotiations, NPI, product launches, and mass-production ramps.
    • Executive-level communication and negotiation skills, global cross-functional leadership capabilities, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

    This position offers a $220,000 base salary with approximately $260,000 OTE. This is a full-time, direct-hire remote opportunity with periodic domestic and international travel. Final benefits and incentive plan details will be confirmed during the interview process.
