Core Competencies are foundational commitments within our INDIGIKNOW MODEL and skills that all Seattle Indian Health Board (SIHB) staff are expected to develop. These competencies define common measures for performance that are applied to every role in the organization.
Position Summary: This position is a senior-level management position responsible for directing the clinical operations of the residential substance use treatment programs of the Seattle Indian Health Board and Thunderbird Treatment Center (TTC). The director works closely with other senior leadership staff to carry out the mission of the SIHB in the delivery of culturally attuned, high-quality, and accessible healthcare.
Organizational Structure/Reporting Relationships: This position reports directly to the Associate Behavioral Health Officer and is a member of the Behavioral Health Division. In addition to direct oversight of the behavioral health teams, the TTC Director also exercises indirect oversight over administrative staff, in collaboration with the Residential Operations Director.
