Position Title: Director of Residential & Outpatient Programs Department: Residential / Outpatient Programs Reports to: Chief Executive Officer About Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc. Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc. is a non-profit organization providing Integrated behavioral healthcare services, including Substance Use, Mental Health, Primary Care Services. Position Summary As Director of Residential & Outpatient Programs, you will lead the day-to-day operations of TTC's Residential, Outpatient, and Recovery Bridge Housing programs in Tarzana and Woodland Hills. This role oversees staff supervision, program performance and compliance, quality improvement, budgeting/expenditures, and community relations/marketing in alignment with Joint Commission and applicable state/county requirements. Coordinate services and maintain collaborative relationships with directors/supervisors across programs and departments. Lead hiring, supervision, performance monitoring, and (as needed) separation/termination processes for staff under direct and indirect supervision. Establish and maintain compliance, quality improvement, and utilization review processes consistent with Joint Commission standards and other regulatory agency requirements. Define, implement, and periodically review program philosophy, objectives, policies, procedures, and standards. Oversee program development responsive to patient and community needs. Provide staff productivity reports per established reporting calendar. Coordinate direct patient care programs and activities through clinical staff. Monitor quality indicators; drive corrective action plans to improve outcomes (e.g., completion rates and perceptions of care). Provide administrative and fiscal reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Serve as liaison to referring agencies; attend community meetings as needed and lead marketing efforts. Participate in assigned operational and quality-related committees (e.g., Environment of Care, Supervisors, Business Development, Quality Improvement, Patient Accounts, Denials, Utilization Review). Responsible for budget oversight, contract utilization, contract compliance, and service management for programs/departments under supervision. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in social services or equivalent experience . 5+ years in a supervisory capacity in the behavioral healthcare field (substance use and mental health treatment experience a must). Ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and partner effectively across departments. Working knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality improvement expectations in behavioral health settings (including Joint Commission standards). Preferred Qualifications Licensed Clinician with strong administrative management skills * Knowledge of residential and outpatient licensing and certification and Drug Medi-Cal preferred.
