Director of Residential Living Services Join the team at Dock Woods! Come Live & Grow – Together! Our Director of Residential Living is responsible for the overall development, implementation, and coordination of Residential Living Services within the Living Branches community. Plans, directs, and/or coordinates programs designed to promote wellness and activities to meet the social, physical and psychological needs of Living Branches' residents. Supervises staff to ensure that the best quality of care is provided to our residents.Job Description:Instructs and supervises staff to ensure that sufficient programs and services are available to best meet the needs of the residents.Assists in orientation and training of new employees, participates in their ongoing training, and participates in the hiring and disciplinary processes.Acts as a liaison and advocate between Living Branches and hospitalized residents. Coordinates the resident needs of our out-sourced residents and plans for their return to the Living Branches campus.Analyzes the program needs of the residents and assists in the development of services offered to ensure that the programs are meeting the service needs and promoting the highest quality of resident care.Works with the RL Nurses to ensure that assessments are preformed to determine the level of care and continually assessed to make sure the resident's needs are being met.Maintains documentation as required by regulations and organizational policies.Serves as the Manager of record of the senior HUD property and maintains property as per HUD regulations.Bachelor's degree in Social Services, Human Services or other related field required5+ years in long-term care with supervisory experience preferredExperience providing care for geriatric persons or working with dementia residentsStrong managerial skills to provide guidance and direction, set performance standards and monitor performance of subordinates At Living Branches, a community with a 5-star CMS rating, our roots run deep!
