We are hiring a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead our therapy team within a skilled nursing facility. This role is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) with leadership experience in a SNF setting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department
- Supervise, mentor, and support PT and OT staff
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and clinical standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans
- Monitor outcomes and adjust programs to improve patient results
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
- Participate in staff training and performance management
Qualifications:
- Licensed PT or OT (required)
- Minimum 3 years of skilled nursing facility experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of rehab regulations and best practices
