We’re seeking a senior research leader to direct a comprehensive rehabilitation research program within a leading specialty rehabilitation environment. This role combines
scientific leadership, research portfolio management, federal grant development, investigator mentorship, and executive-level strategy—with the opportunity to maintain an active research program of your own.

What You’ll Lead:- Establish and execute short- and long-term research strategy and scientific priorities
- Oversee a portfolio of rehabilitation and spinal cord injury research programs while maintaining an active research program
- Lead and mentor investigators, research staff, and emerging research leaders
- Develop major research initiatives and identify funding opportunities, particularly federal research funding
- Guide research design, data analysis, scientific dissemination, and publication efforts
What We’re Looking For:- MD or PhD from an accredited institution
- Strong national reputation in medical rehabilitation research
- 7+ years of administrative/research leadership experience as a Program Director, Department Head, Principal Investigator, or comparable role
- Demonstrated success obtaining federal research funding
- Strong knowledge of funding sources relevant to rehabilitation research
- Expertise in research design, data analysis, and scientific publication
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 20%
