Job description:Seeking a Director of Rehab (DOR) to lead the therapy in-house team at Comfort Creek Nursing and Rehab in Wadley, GA! Must have recent SNF experience and preferred DOR experience. Open to all disciplines: PT, OT, PTA, COTA & SLPThe Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) is responsible for managing and supervising the rehabilitation department to meet resident needs. The DOR will achieve specific patient care, employee relations, customer service, and financial objectives through strong leadership and effective management of staff.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervise, orient, and train Rehab DepartmentCoordinate treatment activity between disciplines and team membersAssist with the interview process for hiringEnsure that therapists and therapy assistants are compliant with documentation.Communicate effectively with administration regarding department programs, goals, objectives, risks, and successes.Ensure timely and accurate billing of services provided and completion of required documentation and maintain quality of services.Attends all mandatory meetings and trainingAssures all patient care activities are performed according to the company policies and proceduresContribute to client relations and community education activities1 year experience as rehab therapistCAREER ADVANTAGES:Rare in-house opportunity Practice in an environment built on integrity and progressive, ethical careWork collaboratively with a supportive team of therapists and nursing staffEnsure for program staffing team supervision and development
