Director of Rehab

Position: Director of Rehab

Salary Range: $35-52/hour

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Rehab to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy, but we are open to all disciplines. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with no weekend rotation required.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the rehab department

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of therapy services

- Manage and mentor a team of therapists and support staff

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care

- Monitor and track patient progress and outcomes

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards

- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including physicians, case managers, and insurance providers

- Participate in budget planning and management

- Identify and implement opportunities for program growth and improvement

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in a therapy discipline (physical therapy preferred)

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a rehab leadership role

- Current state license and/or certification in therapy discipline

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Knowledge of current rehab practices and techniques

- Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent organizational and time management skills
