The Director of Recruiting is responsible for leading and developing the organization-wide talent acquisition function. This individual will build a proactive recruiting strategy that enables the company to attract and hire the clinical, operational, leadership, and support talent required to sustain current operations and support continued organizational growth.
The Director will oversee the full recruiting lifecycle, create recruitment processes and systems, develop effective sourcing pipelines, and partner closely with Executive leaders and Department heads. The successful candidate will bring both strategic leadership and hands-on execution, with the ability to address immediate hiring needs while building the infrastructure, standards, and capabilities of a mature recruiting function as well as leading a team under them.
Responsibilities for the Director of Recruitment:
· Develop and lead a comprehensive recruiting strategy aligned with the organizational priorities, workforce needs, practice growth, and service-line expansion.
· Build proactive talent pipelines for difficult to fill including physicians, advanced practice providers and nurses, through networking, building school relationships and developing innovative methods that will ensure consistent candidate flow.

· Advise senior leadership on talent availability, compensation competitiveness, market challenges, hiring risks, and recommended recruitment strategies.
· Improve the use of the applicant tracking system and other recruitment technology to ensure accurate reporting, candidate tracking, workflow discipline, and data integrity.
· Create standardized tools, including intake forms, interview guides, candidate scorecards, reference check processes, offer procedures, and recruiting dashboards.
· Coordinate appropriately with credentialing, contracting, compensation, and operational teams to ensure an effective transition from accepted offer to start date.
· Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, search firms, job boards, sourcing vendors, and recruitment technology providers.
Qualifications for the Director of Recruitment:
· Significant progressive experience in talent acquisition, including leadership responsibility for a recruiting function or team.
· Demonstrated success recruiting preferably within healthcare or another complex, high-volume, multi-site service organization.
· Experience recruiting a range of positions, ideally including clinical professionals, operational leaders, management roles, and high-volume support staff.
· Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing strategies, selection practices, applicant tracking systems, and recruitment analytics.
· Demonstrated ability to build or improve recruiting processes, infrastructure, performance standards, and reporting.
· Experience partnering with senior executives, physicians, department leaders, and hiring managers.
· Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain urgency in a fast-paced, growing organization.
· Strong analytical ability and comfort using data to guide decisions and measure results.
