Position Overview

A large and rapidly growing healthcare agency is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Recruiting to build and lead a sophisticated talent acquisition function across the organization. This individual will be responsible for creating recruiting systems, developing innovative sourcing strategies, and driving hiring efforts for physician, executive, clinical, and operational roles.

This is an opportunity for a recruiting leader who enjoys building from the ground up, creating scalable processes, and partnering closely with executive leadership to support organizational growth. The role will oversee recruiting operations while directly managing high-priority and hard-to-fill searches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the organization-wide recruiting strategy
  • Create scalable recruiting systems, processes, dashboards, and reporting
  • Develop innovative sourcing methods for physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and leadership positions
  • Build talent pipelines through networking, school partnerships, industry relationships, and community outreach
  • Lead executive and director-level searches across the organization
  • Partner with department leaders to understand hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies
  • Improve utilization of recruiting technology, ATS platforms, and sourcing tools
  • Develop recruitment metrics and provide regular reporting to leadership
  • Manage external recruiting vendors and reduce agency dependency through stronger internal recruiting capabilities
  • Mentor and develop recruiting team members
  • Strengthen employer brand and candidate experience

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive recruiting and talent acquisition experience
  • Experience leading a recruiting function, team, or talent acquisition department
  • Demonstrated success recruiting executive, clinical, operational, or difficult-to-fill positions
  • Strong sourcing expertise across LinkedIn, networking, referrals, community partnerships, and alternative sourcing channels
  • Experience building recruiting processes, infrastructure, and performance metrics
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to think creatively and develop non-traditional recruiting strategies
  • Healthcare recruiting experience strongly preferred
