The Director of Technology Development oversees R&D and technology strategy within the CTO's office of a Los Angeles wireless communications firm.
They will lead efforts to secure government R&D funding, manage the company's technology roadmap, and ensure successful delivery of R&D programs in collaboration with the CTO and VP of Engineering.
The role involves external engagement with funding organizations, proposal development, and business development activities such as demonstrations and customer meetings.
Additionally, they will grow and mentor engineering teams and expand the company's IP portfolio.
Qualifications include a PhD or MS in Electrical Engineering, extensive wireless system design experience, proposal writing skills, and familiarity with RF sensing, signal analysis, and digital communication technologies.
Experience with government clients and security clearance are advantageous.
