The GOR Group has partnered with a leading provider of mission-critical infrastructure solutions seeking a Director of Quality & Lifecycle Services to lead quality assurance, lifecycle support, commissioning readiness, turnover management, and warranty services across modular and prefabricated data center projects.
This executive leadership role is responsible for ensuring every modular data center (MDC) is complete, compliant, operationally ready, and fully supported from factory production through installation, commissioning, owner turnover, startup, and ongoing operation.
The Director of Quality & Lifecycle Services will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, project delivery, commissioning teams, contractors, vendors, and customers to identify deficiencies, assign accountability, drive corrective actions, and ensure issues are resolved efficiently and completely.
This position is intentionally independent from engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and project management functions to ensure quality standards, operational readiness, and customer interests remain objective and are not compromised by schedule or cost pressures.
Position Overview
The Director of Quality & Lifecycle Services will be responsible for ensuring each delivered system is complete, compliant, operationally ready, and fully supported throughout the full product lifecycle. This individual will own the quality governance process across Factory Acceptance Testing, punch-list management, installation readiness, commissioning deficiency closure, turnover signoff, warranty claims, and post-startup issue resolution.
This role will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Project Delivery, Commissioning, vendors, contractors, and customers to identify deficiencies, assign accountability, drive corrective action, and ensure issues are closed quickly and completely.
The position is intentionally independent from Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Project Management to ensure quality, readiness, and customer protection remain objective and are not compromised by schedule or cost pressure.

The Director of Quality & Lifecycle Services will initially lead a small, highly responsive team supporting factory quality, site quality, warranty claims, and lifecycle service. The organization is expected to grow based on production volume, project activity, geographic coverage, and warranty demand.
Authority
This leader will have the authority to reject nonconforming work, stop or delay testing, prevent shipment, prevent commissioning from beginning, prevent owner turnover, require retesting, escalate vendor or contractor failures, require root-cause analysis, and assign issue ownership with completion deadlines.
Conditional progression may be approved only when an issue is noncritical, ownership is assigned, the completion plan is documented, and the risk is clearly understood and accepted by the appropriate executive leadership.

Leadership Profile
The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically credible, detail-oriented, objective, and customer-focused. They must be firm but collaborative, comfortable challenging internal teams and external partners, and highly effective at assigning accountability and driving issues to closure.
This person should be able to identify recurring patterns across multiple projects and prevent unresolved issues from being lost between factory production, site installation, commissioning, turnover, and operation.

The Director of Quality & Lifecycle Services is responsible for ensuring every product delivered by GOR Group's client is complete, tested, documented, operationally ready, and fully supported from factory production through owner operation. This role owns FAT governance, punch-list accountability, installation and turnover signoff, commissioning-deficiency closure, warranty management, post-startup quality response, and continuous improvement.
