For delivering services, accomplishing projects, and working with an excellent team of individuals, the City seeks an experienced Director of Public Works/City Engineer who is a collaborate team player and a people-person. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a leader, and works in a transparent, supportive, and cooperative manner to accomplish responsibilities, manage the department, and complete projects.

Required for the position is a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Civil Engineering or a related field; and at least five (5) years of increasingly-responsible professional experience in public works management, including at least two (2) years of experience in supervisory position; or an equivalent combination of education or experience. Also required is certification as a Professional Engineer (PE). The salary is $196,128 to $250,308 based on experience and qualifications. The City provides also an excellent benefit package.
