This opportunity is with a medium-sized commercial general contractor. The company is known for its commitment to delivering high-quality projects and fostering a collaborative work environment. We are seeking a Director of Preconstruction to oversee our Estimating and Preconstruction team.
Job Description
The responsibilities of the Director of Preconstruction are:
- Lead all preconstruction activities, including estimating, scheduling, and budgeting for projects.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare detailed cost analyses and provide value engineering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations during preconstruction phases.
- Oversee risk assessment and mitigation strategies for upcoming projects.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the preconstruction team to meet project goals.
- Present project proposals and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
