Description

You'll lead the preconstruction and estimating team while working closely with operations, business development, trade partners, architects, and clients throughout the project lifecycle. Some days that means helping develop a pursuit strategy for a major opportunity, and other days it means coaching a team member through a challenge, refining a process, reviewing a conceptual estimate, or helping ownership think through where they're headed next.

Client Details

Some companies view preconstruction as a department.

For our client, it's one of the most important ways they serve their clients, support their operations teams, and set projects up for success long before the first shovel hits the ground. Over the last 50 years, they've built a strong reputation for quality, consistency, and a people-first approach that's set them apart from the competition.

We're looking for a Director of Preconstruction to help lead efforts as presence and projects continue to expand throughout Texas.

Not someone who's simply great with numbers. We're looking for a builder of teams, relationships, and processes. Someone who's just as comfortable mentoring an estimator as they are sitting across the table from a client helping solve a challenge before it becomes a problem.

This role is for a leader who enjoys developing people, improving systems, embracing new ideas, and helping good teams become exceptional ones.

If you've built a reputation for being the person people trust when the stakes are high, keep reading.
