Director of Plant Operations (Crossett, AR)\n \nThe Director of Operations / Plant Manager will lead the end-to-end manufacturing operations for a facility focused on producing Electrical Balance of System (eBOS) products\u2014including UL1741-compliant assemblies, electrical harnesses\u2014 and mechanical structural components through component assembly, metal fabrication and injection molding processes. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing production, quality, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, safety, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure world-class manufacturing performance and product compliance.\n \nCOMPANY OVERVIEW\n \nPremier PV is a leading manufacturer of solar electrical balance of systems solutions and renewable energy products, dedicated to advancing sustainable energy technologies. Our mission is to provide innovative, efficient, and reliable products that enhance solar energy systems.\n \nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\n Operational Leadership\n Direct and manage plant operations including production, planning, quality, maintenance, and logistics.Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with business goals for eBOS and structural products.\n Ensure compliance with UL1741 and other relevant standards for electrical product manufacturing.\n Lead daily operations across injection molding, metal fabrication (sheet metal, stamping, welding), and electrical harness assembly lines.\n \n\n Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement\n Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and improve throughput.\n Evaluate and implement automation and technology upgrades to increase productivity and consistency.\n Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor and enhance operational performance.\n \n\n Cross-Functional Collaboration\n Work closely with R&D, engineering, and product development teams to support new product introduction (NPI).\n Collaborate with Quality, EHS, and Regulatory teams to uphold product standards and certifications.\n Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and delivery.\n \n\n Team Leadership & Development\n Build and mentor a high-performing team of managers and supervisors across all departments.\n Foster a culture of accountability, safety, innovation, and continuous learning.\n Conduct performance reviews, talent development, and succession planning.\n \n\n Compliance & Safety\n Ensure adherence to UL1741 standards, OSHA regulations, and other relevant electrical and mechanical manufacturing codes.\n Maintain and enforce safety protocols to create a zero-incident workplace.\n \n\n \nQUALIFICATIONS\n\n Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).\n 10+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing operations; at least 5 in plant management.\n Deep experience in manufacturing environments involving:\n UL-compliant electrical assemblies (preferably UL1741)\n Harness design and assembly\n Metal fabrication (CNC, stamping, bending, welding)\n Plastic injection molding\n Electro-mechanical assembly\n \n\n Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems (ISO, UL), and lean methodologies.\n Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and large-scale production environments.\n Financial acumen\u2014budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.\n ERP/MRP systems experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).\n Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.\n \nPREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS\n\n Six Sigma Green or Black Belt\n PMP or Operations Management Certification\n OSHA Safety Certification\n \nBENEFITS AND PAY\n\n Competitive salary range of $175k - $190k annually, based on experience and qualifications.\n* Generous benefits package including paid holidays, PTO, sick leave as per state regulations, medical/dental/vision insurance, FSA/HSA, disability coverages, and a 401K plan with matching contributions.\n \nPremier PV provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position.
