    DuPont Country Club is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Director of Pickleball to lead the continued growth of our pickleball program and join one of the region’s most comprehensive racquets operations.

    This is an opportunity to take ownership of an active and growing pickleball program while also serving as an integral member of our tennis professional staff. With 18 outdoor tennis courts, 6 permanent indoor tennis courts, 8 dedicated pickleball courts, 4 platform tennis courts, and 3 new padel courts, DCC provides an outstanding environment for a racquets professional looking to build a strong lesson book, develop creative programming, and grow their career year-round.

    We’re looking for an accomplished racquets player and instructor who will enjoy connecting with members and is excited about building programs and expanding our great pickleball community.

    The Opportunity
    • Take ownership of and help shape the future of the Club’s pickleball program
    • Develop clinics, organized play, leagues, tournaments, and social events for an active membership
    • Teach private and group pickleball lessons from beginner through advanced levels
    • Teach junior and adult tennis lessons, clinics, and programs
    • Work with advanced junior and adult tennis players through instruction and hitting sessions
    • Create new programs and events that drive participation and bring members together
    • Organize and assist with member-guests, Club Championships, camps, tournaments, and special events
    • Build strong relationships with members and become a visible presence within the Racquets community
    • Collaborate with an experienced Racquets Professional Staff across a large, year-round operation
     
    What We’re Looking For
    • Minimum 4.5 DUPR pickleball rating
    • Minimum 5.0 NTRP or 9+ UTR tennis playing level
    • Strong pickleball and tennis playing and teaching background
    • Experience teaching junior and adult tennis
    • Ability to teach and hit with advanced junior and adult tennis players
    • Passion for developing pickleball programming and growing participation
    • Pickleball programming or leadership experience preferred
    • College tennis playing experience strongly preferred
    • PPR, RSPA, PTR, or similar professional certification preferred
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Professional, energetic, dependable, and team-oriented
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
