Position Highlights

• Provide strategic, clinical, regulatory, and operational leadership for the Pharmacy Department
• Oversee budgeting, fiscal reporting, staffing, clinical services, research, compliance, and policy development
• Lead strategic planning and ongoing quality improvement initiatives
• Oversee medication management, formulary decisions, inventory control, and pharmacy operations
• Collaborate with medical staff, administration, and multidisciplinary committees
• Sign-on bonus available

What We’re Looking For

• PharmD from an accredited U.S. pharmacy school
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience within a Pharmacy Department
• 2–3 years of Assistant Director experience in a Pharmacy Department at an organization with a residency program up to PGY2 in Pharmacy Administration
• Current Massachusetts Pharmacist license by the hire date
• Strong leadership, communication, and educator skills
• Ability to oversee departmental budgets, operations, staff development, and regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• MS, MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent additional degree
• Experience managing department budgets and inventory control systems
• Strong presentation skills across clinical, operational, educational, research, and financial topics
• Knowledge of national medication and pharmacy trends
