Position Summary

We are seeking a Director of Pediatrics / Pediatric Residency Program Director to provide leadership and oversight for pediatric services across TFHC. This role will support quality, productivity, provider development, clinical operations, and evidence-based pediatric care.

This position also serves as the Program Director for the Pediatric Residency Program, supporting ACGME accreditation, resident education, faculty development, and continuous program improvement.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for pediatric providers and pediatric clinic operations
• Support recruitment, retention, training, and development of pediatric provider personnel
• Monitor quality, productivity, compliance, and clinical performance measures
• Participate in accreditation efforts, including AAAHC, UDS, NCQA, HRSA, and ACGME requirements
• Oversee pediatric chart reviews, peer reviews, and provider feedback processes
• Lead and support the Pediatric Residency Program in collaboration with the Associate Program Director
• Ensure residency curriculum, evaluations, committees, and accreditation standards are maintained
• Provide direct pediatric patient care, including well-child visits, acute visits, and preventive care
• Collaborate with leadership, providers, staff, residents, and community partners
• Travel between pediatric health center sites as needed

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Florida medical license, MD or DO
• Board Certification from the American Board of Pediatrics
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of practice experience in an FQHC or ambulatory setting
• Graduate Medical Education experience preferred
• Scholarly activity preferred
• EPIC experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, clinical operations, and compliance knowledge
