Our client, a prestigious concierge medicine practice located in Great Neck, renowned for delivering personalized healthcare services, is hiring a Director of Operations, RN. The Director of Operations will play a critical leadership role, overseeing day-to-day administrative functions, streamlining clinical operations, and ensuring exceptional patient care quality. This role requires strategic oversight, team management, and the ability to coordinate between clinical and support staff to foster an efficient, patient-centric environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize clinical and administrative functions.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
- Manage staff including registered nurses (RNs), medical assistants (MAs), support personnel, and clinical providers.
- Collaborate with physicians and support staff to enhance workflow efficiency and patient experience.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, billing, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and supply chain management.
- Lead initiatives for process improvements and technology integration.
- Ensure a high standard of clinical practice and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in strategic planning and performance growth efforts.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of healthcare compliance, privacy, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field; candidates with a Masters degree are preferred.
- Valid RN or Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare operations management, preferably within a clinical or outpatient setting.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations, insurance, and billing processes.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare IT systems and electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to work onsite five days per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Prior experience in concierge or outpatient primary care is a plus.
- Ability to foster a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
