Location: Richardson, TX
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $210,000–$220,000 base + 25% annual bonus + RSU opportunity

Lead Operations in a Fast-Growing Data Center Manufacturing Environment

We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead manufacturing operations for a rapidly growing organization supporting the expanding data center market. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role overseeing multiple managers, production functions, and lines of business in a dynamic, customer-driven manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will come from a contract manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, or similarly complex high-mix/fast-paced production environment, where priorities can shift quickly based on customer requirements and business demand.

What You'll Do
  • Provide overall leadership and direction for manufacturing and production operations.
  • Lead and develop multiple managers and their teams across several operational functions.
  • Establish production priorities and strategies to achieve quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and monitor key manufacturing performance metrics.
  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, operating expenses, and personnel.
  • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to establish strategic direction and execute business objectives.
  • Work with customers and internal stakeholders on production requirements, customer-specific processes, quality, and delivery expectations.
  • Support the introduction of new products and business lines into manufacturing.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, capacity, workflows, and resource utilization.
  • Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, safety, and high performance.
  • Develop and coach leaders while maintaining a hands-on presence within the operation.
What We're Looking For
  • 11+ years of progressive manufacturing and operations leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, data center infrastructure, or another complex, customer-driven manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing multiple managers and diverse production teams.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality, delivery, cost, and operational performance.
  • Proven experience with Lean / World Class Manufacturing / continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment where customer requirements and production priorities can change quickly.
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to move between strategic planning and day-to-day manufacturing operations.
Compensation & Opportunity
  • $210,000–$220,000 base salary
  • 25% annual bonus
  • RSU opportunity
  • Potential $15,000–$30,000 annual RSU/sign-on opportunity, with a two-year vesting schedule
  • High-visibility leadership position within a growing organization serving the expanding data center market
