Job Description

Lead the operational execution of all light industrial construction projects across the organization. Oversee Project Managers, Superintendents, and operational staff to ensure successful project delivery. Drive project performance related to safety, quality, schedule, profitability, and client satisfaction. Develop and implement operational strategies, systems, and best practices. Monitor project financial performance, forecasting, budgeting, and risk management initiatives. Establish and maintain operational metrics to improve efficiency and accountability. Provide executive oversight of project planning, procurement, staffing, and resource allocation. Partner with business development and preconstruction teams to support growth initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, subcontractors, and industry partners. Mentor and develop construction leadership teams to strengthen organizational capabilities. Lead operational reviews and executive reporting efforts. Ensure compliance with company standards, contract requirements, and safety expectations. Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational scalability.

The Successful Applicant

Experience acting as a Director of Operations, or similar, with a commercial construction general contractor. Proven experience overseeing large-scale light industrial projects with clients like Amazon (warehouse, distribution, cold-storage, manufacturing). Experience overseeing project and operations teams. Experience developing and implementing operational processes and performance metrics. Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
