We are committed to operational excellence, food safety, and delivering the highest standards of the McDonalds brand across all our locations.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead and oversee the operational performance of our McDonalds franchise portfolio. This is a salaried position offering competitive pay and benefits. The Director of Operations will be responsible for the financial health of the organization, compliance with McDonalds corporate standards, food safety regulations, and the development of our leadership team.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial & Operational PerformanceMonitor the overall financial health of the organization, with direct ownership of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements across all locationsTrack and manage key performance targets including food cost and labor costs to maximize profitabilityAnalyze financial reports and operational metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring corrective actionDevelop and implement strategies to achieve company-wide financial and operational goalsLeadership & Team DevelopmentDirectly supervise and mentor two (2) Supervisors and collaborate with one PEL Deployment Manager to coordinate company goals and targetsProvide guidance, coaching, and performance management to General Managers (GMs) across all locationsOversee and support the Facilities Team responsible for company maintenance, equipment upkeep, and capital project coordinationEnsure effective training programs are in place and executed to maintain operational standards and develop internal talentCorporate & Vendor RelationsServe as the primary liaison with McDonalds Corporate staff, maintaining strong working relationships and ensuring brand complianceCoordinate and lead preparations for McDonalds Corporate inspections and evaluationsManage communications and coordinate inspections with outside food safety vendorsEnsure readiness and compliance for local Health Department inspections across all locationsCommunication & MeetingsConduct biweekly meetings with General Managers and Supervisors at the company office to drive effective communication, alignment on company objectives, and operational consistencyFacilitate cross-functional collaboration between operations, facilities, and corporate support teamsQualificationsRequiredProven experience in multi-unit restaurant or food service operations managementStrong financial acumen with demonstrated experience managing P&Ls, food costs, and labor metricsExcellent leadership and team development skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesKnowledge of food safety regulations and health code complianceAbility to pass a federal background check to obtain access credentials for operations within the U.S. Navy basePreferredPrior experience with McDonalds franchise operations or QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) managementFamiliarity with McDonalds corporate standards, inspections, and operational systemsExperience working within federal or military installation environmentsBachelors degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)What We OfferCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits packageOpportunity to lead a growing franchise operation with the support of a dedicated leadership teamProfessional development and growth within the organizationWork EnvironmentThis role requires regular travel between restaurant locations, including a site operating within a U.S. Navy base.
